La Chance am Meer in Kellenhusen

Stayed here about a week ago. We liked it very much. Wonderful interior, I can imagine that in summer you can also sit outside very well.

Very nice and bright restaurant with a great view of the Baltic Sea. Very nice service. Food came quickly and was delicious and super plentiful. Price-performance ratio is right. We were completely satisfied and would like to come back.

Were there early yesterday afternoon. Inconspicuous from the outside, but super good food! Nice service, view of the Baltic Sea - what more could you want!

We went for dinner and were very satisfied. The food was very good and came quickly. Even special requests were courteously dealt with. I can recommend it!

If you want good food, you sometimes have to wait. Great food. You definitely go out full. The staff is great and you can squeeze with them when they have time. How they vote to us continuously so that everyone is satisfied. Thumbs up.

Food was delicious standard, service friendly and quick. Toilet dirty, no soap, basket for used towels spilled on the floor. Unfortunately it has not been cleaned for a long time, easy to recognize by the amount of dust on the ceiling lamps, the rear toilet lid, corners and skirting board. What a shame, because you can be proud of the ladies' room, it is technically state-of-the-art and very tastefully designed.

Direct location on the beach promenade. Staff friendly, unfortunately long waiting time for the food. Food good overall. Less sauce for the pan fish would be good.

Just had a coffee here. The service was friendly. The restaurant is already located directly on the promenade with an attached outdoor area. It's a shame that people in this restaurant still insist on wearing a mask to the seat even outside

The cappuccino didn't taste good. The iced coffee was an impertinence. Not only did it taste like milk and not coffee, the 10 cm glass contained a 9 cm straw. You'd have to drink something first before screwing up your fingers.

The whole team from La Chance prepared an unforgettable evening for us. An almost unbelievable kitchen, everything prepared to the point. Impressive friendliness and great service. Thank you and see you very soon!

The food was delicious and generous portions. The service is very friendly and the view of the Baltic Sea is excellent.

As inconspicuous as the restaurant looks from the outside. The food there is so damn delicious. You can eat very, very well here. All dishes are freshly prepared and served hot. The portions are great. The service is just very friendly and personable. All in all, 5 stars are perfectly fine for the overall concept.

Moin everything was fine we were 2 adults and two children 6 and 1.5 years the food was good and we didn't have to wait long 30 minutes. We were there around noon. The dishes are great. We will visit this restaurant again. Oh and the staff was friendly and not overwhelmed.

Fish soup was perfect! The rest of our food was ok/good. Service was chaotic, disorganised and slow. Frustrating and even more so to see everyone around us frustrated too ie. tense atmosphere. They are good at getting lots of people in but once there, forgotten quickly. It is a shame as the restaurant itself is clean, well designed and perfectly located.

Very tasty food, the fish is very good and the portions are large. The waitresses are very friendly and first come. The long wait made up for the good food.

I don't understand what people have here. The service was very friendly and courteous, we were served immediately and the drinks were already at the table after a few minutes. The food took just 40 minutes to get to the table, but you have to say that it was full to the last rows. The food and drinks were delicious and the portion was just right. Of course something is forgotten sometimes but I think that's because they still write everything down by hand and the tables have no numbers. If they had a bit more structure and maybe switched to more electronics, it would be even better as it is already. I recommend everyone to give it a try, we would go back again and again.

Since we have had rather bad experiences with pizza in town so far, we did not go to this restaurant without prejudice. However, all of our negative assumptions were not confirmed & now we are annoyed not to have visited this restaurant before. The staff greets you very friendly & leads every guest to the table. Despite the high number of guests at peak times, they remain very friendly. They are definitely stress-resistant, even if you looked at them. They apologized in advance for a long wait. Nevertheless, the food was quickly at the table with us. At the next table (approx. 10 people) everyone got their dishes at the same time. That has to be very good timing in the kitchen! The staff asked several times if everything was okay or if there were any further requests. The pizzas were bombastic, both in terms of size and taste. The slightly higher price is therefore completely justified. The chicken schnitzel was crispy & the fries very, very tasty, as they weren't served with salt as is typical, but with a fries spice. We only imagined the cocktail sauce to be a bit different, as it is more of a dip. A salad was served with the schnitzel. Since there is less attention to hygiene with regard to Corona in the village, you can't blame the staff. This is up to the owner! So masks for everyone over the nose & more thorough cleaning of the tables!

Really good food and great fish. The service was also very responsive to us. It was also well attended and the location right on the beach is simply indescribably beautiful 👌🏻

The restaurant was not very well attended and the service was sometimes overwhelmed. We had to wait about 1 1/2 hours for our food and then it only came in stages, even though we were only 2 adults and a toddler. To get drinks you had to point out to the service several times that you wanted to have a drink. Food was okay.

Modern restaurant located directly on the promenade. Service staff was nice but totally under power. Unfortunately we had to wait 90min for 3 meals. Food was great in taste but the waiting time was too violent for our taste.

Very courteous and friendly staff! The food tasted really good. Stayed there twice during a week long vacation. The decor is very modern, attractive and it is clean. Would have liked to eat there more often. I can only recommend it.
